Blockhead Friday.

  1. Postcript: I didn't think there was any real compelling need for any text on this particular post. When it comes to the annual March of the Blockheads the day after Thanksgiving, there's no need to go beyond the pictures to demonstrate the point.

  2. It's exhausting just to look at the pics. Blockhead is right. I'm waiting for someone to sue the retailer when they get hurt in the mad rush for the door....I can't believe no one's tried that yet!

  3. I've never gone to a black friday sale in my entire life. It's the general principle of the thing with me, Hot Ass Holly. No dude loves a good deal more than me, and I'm damn good at scoping out good bargains -- but I refuse to partake in black friday bullshit. I just refuse to become part of a herd of cattle. I'm way too Independent for such an exercise. ;)

  4. Well, I'm in good company then, b/c I've never participated in Blockhead Friday either! I like a good deal too, and I'm pretty thrifty most of the time.....but standing in line, in the cold, for HOURS in the middle of the night to save a few bucks on something - not gonna happen! And thank you for the Hot Ass Holly comment - made me smile =)

  5. To me, being thrifty and saving money is a full time pursuit, year around. Participating in a gimmicky, contrived event like black friday -- in which I suspect most participants do little to save any money during the year EXCEPT for black friday -- is just something I could not possibly participate in on general principle. It's just mindless madness (a "let's do what the masses are doing" mentality), and even I'm not that crazy! Close, but not quite there!
